Mission Statement
The Helena-West Helena Fire Department is dedicated to fire suppression, life saving
, rescue, mutual aid, and community support. This is accomplished by achieving the
highest standards for Health and Safety throughout the Department. The overall support
of this effort will be exemplified in a manner pertaining to training, proper equipment,
quality leadership, and environmental protection. To achieve these goals, this Department
shall routinely operate in such a manner to ensure maximum safety at all times. A
safe and efficient working environment can only be achieved by setting and adhering
to high standards for the firefighter’s safety. High standards can only be achieved
through each firefighter pledging themselves to purse safe firefighting standards
at all times.
Objectives
The objectives of the Helena-West Helena Fire Department is to protect the citizens
of Helena-West Helena Arkansas from the effects of fire. Our main Goal is to save
lives, and protect property. Our first line of defense is public awareness o fire
prevention and safety. Our next line of defense is training, and education in fire
suppression.
